    There are few people who inspire me a lot. In today’s world, the generation in which I grew up, people are so competitive. I like this competitive spirit. I don’t remember I was this competitive and ambitious in my early 20s though.

    When I see Ishan Sharma, I wish I had that clarity when I was pursuing my engineering. Most of us had so limited vision that we don’t realise our true potential.

    Ishan Sharma is one who did. He failed IIT JEE and couldn’t get into any of the IITs. This had a big impact on the way he perceived his life from there onwards. He started learning coding and digital marketing, invested tons of hours in learning new things and became better as a content creator.

    Today he is on an exponential growth of learning and upskilling. And this motivates me a lot.

    Ishan dropped from college in the 3rd year of his engineering very recently. This goes on to proof that if you know you can do better without a degree, do not wait.

  • New to StudyPool: This is how the studypool world looks like.

    Studypool is platform where students can seek help from Tutors by paying certain amount for a particular question.

    The amount depend on the nature of question.

    The final amount is reached after a bidding round.

    Those who have joined studypool very recently will find it difficult to win any bid initially. New Tutors will have to bid on more than 50 to 100 questions to win any bid. It might be quite frustrating.

    I am sharing some of the experiences for a new Tutors:

    1. Initially you will have to bid a lot to get any work.

    2. You might have to work for a question at a low rate. For example an established Tutor with a great reputation will take 15 dollar for a question which you might have to work at 3 dollar.

    3. Due to low reputation and non-recognisable profile your bidding value is undervalued initially.

    4. You might get warnings for overtime despite no fault at your ends. This is because of some vague rules of Studypool.

    5. You might get suspended due to poor understanding of studypool policy. Once you are suspended it will take 24 hours for your account to get activated again.

    Thus, you will have a mixed experience while starting at studypool. Gradually once your profile reputation builds up, you can have more voice in the bidding process.

    KDP is Amazon’s free publishing platform where you can publish your books, notebooks, short journals etc and earn in dollars through royalties.

    These are the steps you need to do to publish your first book on KDP:

    1. Create your account at KDP.

    2. Set up your payment details and activate your account

    3. Choose an author name. You can choose your name or a pseudo name to start with.

    4. Use canva to design your first book. You can simply create a simple notebook in Canva.

    5. You need to create inside book materials and a coverpage separately. You can use Canva for this.

    6.You can go to bookow.com and use “KDP cover template generator” for getting the size of your cover.

    7. The most important thing that one needs to keep in mind is to keep right size and take care of bleed.

    8. I mostly prefer 8.5” x 11” size and depending on the number of pages bookow gives me a cover template.

    9. I suggest to watch this video. This will help in understanding the basic minimum of technical aspects while creating a book.
